Speaker Program for LVAD Support Groups

We are building a speaker network to bring real LVAD stories into support groups.

We are building a speaker program and are looking for LVAD patients and caregivers who want to share their story to LVAD support groups.

LVADStrong is creating a volunteer speaker network to bring real patient and caregiver voices into hospital and community support groups. If you are interested, we would love to learn about your journey and what you would feel comfortable sharing.

What we are building

We are developing a simple, supportive way for LVAD patients and caregivers to speak with others who are living through the same thing. The goal is to make every LVAD support group feel more human, more honest, and more helpful, while promoting empathy in healthcare for patients, caregivers, and clinical teams.

This program is in development now. We are recruiting an initial group of volunteer speakers to help shape it.

This is about lived experience, not medical guidance.
